The upper floors and the ground levels are intended for offices, while the basements are used for car parking. In addition, two floors dedicated to administration are located on a bridge at floors 7 and 8, linking the south tower to the north tower. The building also has an outdoor area adorned with gardens and water features at levels 1 and 0.
In the office areas, the walls have been plastered and painted, refrigerated and plasterboard false ceilings have been applied, and false floor has been laid. White concrete (VPBB) was used on the main façade of the building, with the white concrete wall-beam forming a monolithic piece measuring approximately 87.00×34.20×0.85 m³. The roofs were waterproofed with asphalt roofing felt over layers of screed or lightweight concrete. Then thermal insulation boards, geotextile mat and a new layer of screed and burgau were applied.
In the areas bordering the public space, prefabricated concrete benches were installed on the north, south and east fronts, and metal guardrails on the west (Av. D. João II). In terms of outdoor spaces, a metal walkway was built connecting floor 1 to Megastore, as well as a set of large metal walkways between the North and South blocks.
This building was honoured with the Valmor and Municipal Architecture Prize 2005, awarded by Lisbon City Council. This award recognises the architectural quality of the project, which has made a significant contribution to safeguarding the heritage and enhancement of the city of Lisbon, projecting it as a modern, sustainable and cosmopolitan city.
