Energy efficiency and sustainable resource management are a priority, with class A and NZEB energy certification, LEED and Well Gold certifications, and the possibility of achieving Platinum. The collection of 100% of rainwater for reuse in the irrigation of public spaces, the use of vegetation with sustainable irrigation requirements, and the maximum possible production of renewable energy from geothermal and photovoltaic systems are some of the solutions implemented.
The promotion of soft and electric mobility is ensured by the proximity of access to public transport, a large parking lot for 300 bicycles with changing rooms, and plenty of charging points for electric vehicles. Circulation and access to the building are optimised by metal walkways that connect different parts of the complex.
The building's complex structure, with large open-space areas, was built using prestressed lightweight slabs to ensure flexibility and control of deformations. The floor slab is monolithically connected to the column footings, guaranteeing stability and resistance. The ground floors and loading and unloading areas were equipped with solid reinforced concrete slabs to withstand the high loads expected.
