The Street Porto project consisted of the urbanisation and reconfiguration of a plot of land for the construction of a large student residence, with 805 rooms. This project presented an additional challenge as it was not urbanised, so all the infrastructure and connections to public networks had to be built from scratch.
The Street Porto has a total area of 17,368 m², divided into two lots. Lot 1, with 9,375 m², consists of 8 different buildings. Lot 2, with 1,430 m², includes one building. The two lots are separated by a 278-metre-long street, 93 parking spaces, a public square, green spaces and pedestrian circulation. The buildings were constructed in reinforced concrete with a brick façade covered in ETICS and ventilated with ceramic tiles.
This is a space with several common areas that have different purposes. The indoor areas include reception desk, gym, cinema, library, yoga room, bar and restaurant, toilets, karaoke room and laundry. The outdoor areas include the swimming pool, gardens and leisure areas.
