Located in Marvila, Lisbon, and covering a footprint of 13 hectares, this hospital complex will replace 6 healthcare units still in service today: São José, Santa Marta, Santo António dos Capuchos, Dona Estefânia, Curry Cabral and Maternidade Alfredo da Costa.

It will be spread across three distinct parcels, interconnected by aerial walkways, over a total construction area of 240,466 m². In the current project, this hospital will be able to accommodate approximately 879 patients (expandable to 1065 in contingency situations) and will provide a total of 2998 parking spaces, mostly covered.

Description of each parcel:

- Parcel A: The main hospital building, including all medical facilities, a car park and a helipad;

- Parcel B: Facilities dedicated to Mental Health and Rehabilitation units, administrative centre, outpatient services and parking areas;

- Parcel C: Building intended for Research and Education areas. This infrastructure will also feature a multi-storey car park.

All special installations associated with the project are included, as well as the exterior landscaping, to ensure appropriate environmental integration.
