We invest in our people, in their ongoing training, in expanding their skills and in developing talent. We invest in the acquisition of advanced equipment, the integration of IoT and ecological solutions, particularly in terms of energy.
We have integrated digital solutions into our processes by digitising support and business processes, in particular the adoption of the Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodology.
We participate in Collaborative Laboratories with the main aim of defining and implementing research and innovation agendas geared towards creating economic and social value, stimulating scientific employment and carrying out Research, Development and Innovation activities.
We invest in partnerships for the development of innovation projects and in the creation and management of research, development and innovation (RDI) organisations with multiple partners. We encourage the creation of highly qualified scientific and technological jobs. At this level, we highlight the implementation of multiple projects with various partners, co-financed by European funds, in which we develop innovative and sustainable solutions.
Innovation in prefabrication for railway bridges
Designing new products for railway bridge decks taking advantage of the potential offered by materials such as HPFRC, which will be used to design and develop prefabricated stringers, without reinforcement in the current zone, and transverse beams of the modular beam-column system.
Minimising the effects of traffic noise
Rail is the most sustainable mode of transport, with the lowest energy consumption, minimum space requirements, and the smallest carbon footprint compared to any other land or sea transport mode. Despite this, the noise generated by this mode of transport is a major environmental challenge.
