Located in the heart of the city of Amarante, on the left bank of the River Tâmega, this 16th century building, with its gilded baroque interiors, is a paradise for lovers of golf, fine wines and gastronomy.
Spread over around 4 hectares, the property comprises the house, a large raised garden and vineyard terraces that culminate at the top of the hill with a circular crenellated tower, a typical 19th century architectural feature.
The work carried out can be divided as follows:
Demolitions:
- Demolition of several interior and exterior walls made of stone, brick and cement block masonry;
- Demolition of the roof structure and cladding;
- Removal of all the existing wooden frames on the façades.
Structure:
- Construction of reinforced concrete foundations, pillars, stairs and lift shaft;
- Construction of a metal structure to reinforce existing lightweight slabs;
- Construction of a metal structure for the walkway between the Inn building and the building known as the Swimming Pool Bar;
- Construction of concrete sheets to reinforce existing stone walls;
- Construction of an outdoor swimming pool using permanent shuttering;
- Construction of the entire reinforced concrete structure of the car park building.
Masonry:
- Construction of interior walls in brick and cement block;
- Plastering interior walls.
Cladding:
- Plastering to be painted;
- Plastering to receive ceramic tiles and marble stone cladding;
- Laying screeds to receive ceramic tiles, marble stone, carpet and wood;
- Execution of ceramic cladding on walls and floors;
- Execution of marble stone cladding on walls and floors;
- Execution of wood-covered floors;
- Execution of ceramic tile cladding inside the pool, including waterproofing;
- Execution of plasterboard ceilings, including painting;

- Making a solid wood gate for the entrance to the Inn.
Metalwork:
- Installing metal window frames in the Laundry and Swimming Pool Bar building;
- Execution of metal guards.
