Mota‑Engil Engenharia has been recognised as the most attractive company to work for in the “Construction and Infrastructure” sector in Portugal, achieving 1st place in the Randstad Employer Brand Research 2026 study.

Just days before celebrating its 80th anniversary, this award demonstrates the employees’ commitment to the company and the consistency of the work carried out throughout its history. More than a group of over 2000 people, it is a team built on respect, trust and mutual support, committed to keeping the company’s culture and values alive and to fulfilling its mission.

This recognition further reinforces the company’s positioning as a benchmark in the sector and highlights its ongoing commitment to valuing people, developing talent and fostering an excellent working environment.

The results and criteria of the 11th edition of the Randstad Employer Brand Research study were announced on 21 May in Lisbon, Portugal, where it was revealed how professionals in the labour market assess the 150 largest employers in Portugal, which companies are considered the most attractive to work for, both overall and by sector, and the most relevant factors influencing Portuguese people’s employment decisions.

These results make it possible to monitor trends in talent attraction and retention, helping to guide organisations’ employer branding strategies.
