Awarded contract for the construction of Luanda Airport, the first major project to be carried out in Angola.
Foundation of the company Engil, Sociedade de Engenharia Civil Lda.
SIEMCRETE sliding forms patent and opening of Engil's northern delegation in Portugal.
Internationalisation of Mota & Companhia begins with the construction of the Dreihuk Dam in Namibia.
Mota & Companhia made a start to its activities in Portugal with the award of the Lucefecit Dam, in Alentejo.
Project of Regularisation of the Lower Mondego River carried out by Mota & Companhia.
Mota & Companhia is listed on the Stock Market.
Construction of the Alto Lindoso Dam by Engil, Lda.
