We carry out tests on materials to be used in the construction of infrastructures and civil engineering, such as: aggregates, concrete, bituminous mixtures, rocks and soils.
Our employees are highly qualified and experienced in the field of materials and quality engineering, thus respecting the highest standards of quality control and reliability.
With an active and constructive voice in the National Technical Commissions for Standardisation, we contribute all our know-how and experience to ensuring that European processes and standards are respected.
Today, the search for more sustainable solutions for construction is a must. In this laboratory, we endeavour to create circular solutions with better performance in their life cycles.
Our laboratory is recognised, accredited and a benchmark in Portugal. We were awarded accreditation certificate no. L0315 by IPAC - Instituto Português de Acreditação (Portuguese Accreditation Institute) on 18 February 2003, in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17025. In 2005 and 2006 we extended the range of certifications based on a spirit of continuous improvement in our laboratory's services.
Services
Simultaneously, we study and develop new construction and recovery of waste techniques, allowing Mota-Engil Engenharia to contribute to a more sustainable development in the construction sector.
These studies ensure our regular presence at specialised congresses and our cooperation with the scientific community through the publication of technical articles.
