Client: Concessionária Norte LitoralProject: Bridge over the Lima River - A28 MotorwayDescription: Our work involved designing a deck lifting system and the supply and replacement of 38 bearing devices.The deck was temporarily lifted and suspended on the pillars using hydraulic jacks with a lifting capacity of 4000 kN.Six jacks were used per beam, providing a maximum capacity of 24000 kN.Since the lifts were approximately 10 mm and the load-bearing capacity of the jacks exceeded the maximum expected load by 60%, there was no need to restrict traffic on the motorway.
