“Manuel António da Mota” Award
Created in 2010 and awarded annually since then, this prize aims to distinguish the work of organisations that have excelled in the various fields in which the Foundation operates. Over the years, 140 projects have already been honoured.
Mota-Engil Engenharia Activity:
Mota-Engil Engenharia, the company that gave rise to what is now the Mota-Engil Group, actively participates in the initiatives promoted by the Foundation. This collaboration reflects the company's commitment to society in terms of its social responsibility and the well-being of its employees.
Some examples of this collaboration are listed below:
-Financing of initiatives promoted by the Foundation, contributing to the fulfilment of its strategic objectives;
- Active participation in corporate volunteering activities;
- Dissemination, promotion and clarification of the Foundation's support programmes for employees;
- Promotion of the Foundation's initiatives to all the Organisation's employees.
Social Development
We contribute to the social development of the national and international communities where we operate, supporting areas such as social solidarity, disability, health, housing, sport, among others.
Education
We support the education, training and qualification of young people and adults, valuing human potential, promoting social and professional integration and encouraging educational merit and success.
Culture
We promote culture by supporting cultural agents and enhancing access to cultural goods and values in the communities where we are present.
Environment
Committed to the Sustainable Development Goals, where the environment is a fundamental pillar, we collaborate with institutions aligned with the same purpose.
International
We develop social responsibility projects in various areas and geographies where the Mota-Engil group operates, seeking to respond to the needs of communities and collaborating in achieving their objectives.
